Welcome to Lakeside Pediatric & Adolescent Medicine! Thank you for visiting our site and looking around at the information we have compiled for you. We believe in a team approach to practicing medicine and we encourage your involvement in patient care. Opening our office in beautiful Coeur d'Alene Idaho in 2002, was a great decision and we've been blessed with a wonderful staff and a FANTASTIC group of families that visit our practice. We are located in the Chinook office building on Ironwood drive. For your convenience, this building is also home to all of the obstetricians in Coeur d'Alene. Please have a look around and keep checking back for exciting new information we have planned for our office.

Our practice is home to six medical providers. We have two very experienced nurse practitioners, and four pediatric board certified medical doctors. To find out more about our providers please click here. Keeping your children healthy is our goal! As a result, we thoroughly clean and disinfect every exam room after each visit as well as wipe down our front office and waiting room at least every two hours.

Because we love You! We are hosting a cowboy/cowgirl themed patient appreciation party between 11 and 2pm on Saturday September 10th in the parking lot of our office. We will hand out free t-shirts to the first 100 patients that arrive that day. There will also be an opportunity to dunk your favorite doctor in the dunk tank and bounce in any of the three bounce houses. Enjoy lunch on us and wear your best western gear while having your face painted. We look forward to seeing you there. You are ALL so great. (updated 8/29)

We are proud to announce that Dr. Ken Akey has joined our practice! Dr. Ken is joining us from his private practice of over 20 years in California. Please help him feel welcome as he gets to know Coeur d'Alene. Like All of your Drs. here, Dr. Ken is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is Board Certified in Pediatrics. His numerous years of experience in Pediatrics and friendliness are a great fit. Welcome Dr. Ken!

Appointments: We strongly believe in well child care and preventive medicine. We encourage all parent to make regular well child appointments for their children. We also have regular office visits, same day visits (acute visits), and nurse only visits (weight checks, shots only visits).
